Math…putting the Fun Into Fundamental Learning

My Project

I work in an underfunded rural middle school, with 65% of the students coming from economically disadvantaged situations.

Our math scores have been among the lowest in our region and near the bottom across the state.

I am on a mission to help my students see the possibilities outside of our classroom but need basic supplies to get there.

Our district provides students computers for electronic testing, but students need headphones for them.

We need the basics…pencils, highlighters, folders for them to hold on and keep their hard work in.

I live my life with a simple quote “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”
