Our middle school students are eager to learn and interact with technology. My students are excited to use technology when completing assignments. They have inspired me with their mindset that nothing is impossible. Through project-based learning in geography, history, and math, I have seen my students collaborate with their peers to solve real-world problems. In addition, they have taken new knowledge and applied it to their research.
They are a creative group of students who are thrilled to learn, create, build, construct, and present their ideas to the world.
My Project
Help my students use calculators, manipulatives, games, and charts to better understand math concepts. These materials will focus on multiplication and fractions needed for higher level math.
Students will be able to visualize the concepts and practice them throughout the school year.
These materials will help students to continue to grow and think like mathematicians. Your contributions will help students to become more confident in their math abilities and to progress towards higher thinking and maybe even careers that use math.
