This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Having a space to sit down and share our ideas and thoughts would be amazing for our students. A classroom carpet will help my students to work together in a comfortable space, while they are calm in a learning environment, and they can focus with less distraction. My students will be able to gather for whole group lessons or when work in groups during math activities without feeling uncomfortable on the hard floor.
A carpet will minimize accidents or injuries in my classroom in case any of the students fall or slip.
