Math is an invitation for inquiry and collaboration! During COVID-19, my students had less opportunities for hands-on math experiences. Anxiety and fears about math formed and continue to persist.
My students will use these tools to explore and empower their mathematical thinking.
They will work in small groups to problem solve, using a shared whiteboard as a place to explain and model ideas. Individually, students will use headphones to access and create math videos that show efficient and effective problem solving strategies.
Knowledge is a social construct; students will create and reflect on their mathematical understanding together.
