Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my community love coming to school. My school site is nestled in the growing community of west Chula Vista. I teach in a low income community of hardworking families that want the best for their children. Many of my students do not have help at home, but love to learn at school and once they leave for the day.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year.

My Project

These materials will allow my students a hands on way to learn and master their multiplication and division facts. So many times students have a difficult time memorizing their facts and this will allow for a fun learning experience. Not just an exciting learning experience for my struggling students but also for my advanced students that love to compete.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

These items allow for collaborative opportunities for students to learn in a creative way.
