My Students
My students are curious, enthusiastic, funny, unique, and creative thinkers. They come to school every day excited to learn. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions.
They are inquisitive about the world around them, so I strive to broaden their horizons and challenge their minds.
We actively work on STEAM assignments incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies and group activities.
My Project
As an educator, I fully understand the impact of having the right materials to accompany a lesson. It enhances the lesson. My students learn so much more when they are allowed to be creative. I have seen the very successful results. The students are fully engaged and participation is wonderful.
I have seen student skills advance significantly when they are allowed to design, discuss, and communicate with each other.
The pens, paper, notebooks and notepads will be used to take notes and complete individual and group math assignments, while the learning charts will be used to display strategies, vocabulary, and other standards that are learned throughout the year.
Therefore I am asking for your support by helping me to provide the best learning experience for the students in my class. With the acquisition of these supplies, my students will have the tools they need to be successful learners.
