This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a group of exceptional learners who are always eager to learn. They learn best using a multi-sensory approach. Some of our lessons include building words with letter tiles, using sand to write letters, and creating crafts to support instruction. Math is one of their favorite subjects.
Students love to learn while playing games!
Research shows that using games in teaching can help increase student participation, foster social and emotional learning, and motivate students to take risks.
We are requesting math games and word games to help them learn while having fun! We are also requesting velcro to make our own games!
