My Students

I am a fifth grade teacher in Queens, NY and am fortunate enough to work with spectacular students who are so full of spirit and excitement for learning. I work with students from a wide range of social, emotional, and economic backgrounds. My students have varying learning needs, and each student requires different academic resources in order to attain grade level standards. I want to provide them with the items they need in order to help maximize their learning potential.

My Project

The ETA hand2mind Daily Math Fluency Kit will make a huge difference in our fifth grade classroom. It will be wildly engaging to have a math center where students can go to in order to practice their fluency skills. This will also help to build their number sense, develop numeracy, and explore mathematical relationships to reason with numbers.

Imagine having a place to go to in the classroom, where there are math manipulatives that can help brush up on math skills.

Not only will this kit benefit those students who struggle in math, it will help to enrich those who are interested in exploring new math topics.
