Math with Mario and Luigi

My Project

Each year, we work with students to set goals with our Math Intervention Groups. We try to pick a theme that would be fun for the students. We are planning to do a Super Mario Brothers theme next year. The students will LOVE this theme, and we are timing it when there is a new movie coming out.

We will do a Mario and Luigi Goal Setting Bulletin Board, and the students can earn coins, and "level up" as they reach their goals!

We will be using the Mario and Luigi stickers to celebrate great math work on their Progress Monitoring Assessments.

The Uno and Monopoly games will be used to reinforce that "Math is Everywhere"! Once in a while, we take a break from direct instruction and teach our students how to play various board games, because so many have math involved!
