My Students
My students may come from average or low-income houses, but they deserve an extraordinary education.
The future of the world is in my classroom today.
Future teachers, doctors, lawyers, engineers, artists, scientist, businessmen, and women, possibly even a future President, sit in my presence daily.
They are hard workers and have a desire to achieve greatness. They come prepared every day to give their best and I want to make sure that our classroom has all the materials necessary to enable them to be successful.
My Project
My students need math manipulative that they can hold in their hands. Math is an extremely difficult subject for many students and if I can get the materials in their hands, I know that it will create a more concrete understanding.

With these coins, counters, shapes, place value blocks, dice, dominoes, etc.. my students will be able to demonstrate there mastery of content in a more hands on way. Many of our students learn by doing, so let's put the tools to learn in their hands.
