This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Blank fraction tiles are a very important tool for 7th and 8th grade! Students will be able to use these tiles to better understand new curriculum and make graphs to show their understanding of different math concepts. My students are the first 7th and 8th graders at our elementary school! We have transitioned to an Agriscience Kinder-8th grade school! Since we are a new program, we will be working closely with the District Specialists and these tools are important to our new curriculum. We do not have many tools geared towards high grade levels and these fraction tiles will be very helpful to us!
