Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have selected multiple math tools to help my students with place value and addition. My second grade students need visuals and concrete examples to help them understand as some are behind in math.
I have also chosen a couple flexible seating options for students to choose from when they are working independently so that they can be engaged and motivated while doing math.
I know that these tools will really help my students engage in math, especially the students who are really struggling. Our small group time will be elevated because of these tools.
