My Project
Hello, donors! We are a fun 2nd-grade class ready to learn math. We need some special tools called manipulatives to help us with math skills. We use them to solve problems, especially when adding and subtracting with regrouping.
Some students find regrouping hard, manipulatives will help them understand better.
We want to add some new tools to our classroom, including:
- Lake Shores Hands-On Regrouping Kits: These kits will give students a fun way to practice regrouping in addition and subtraction.
- Regrouping Place Value Tools: These tools will help students see how numbers fit together in tens and ones.
- Regrouping Dry Erase Boards: These boards allow students to practice regrouping problems and show their work easily.
With these tools, our goals are to:
- Help students gain confidence in their math skills.
- Make learning fun through hands-on activities.
- Allow students to work together in groups to solve problems.
- Improve understanding of regrouping in addition and subtraction.
- Encourage students to express their thinking on dry-erase boards.
With these tools, our students will:
- Feel more confident in math.
- Enjoy learning with hands-on activities.
- Have fun while mastering important math skills!
