My Project
In first grade students tend to be more successful with learning if they are taught using a hands on approach. With these kits, which contain different math manipulative, students will be able to learn using their own supplies and at their own speed. They will also be able to keep the math toolbox in their desk to be used when they need them.
These math kits will be used on a daily basis helping to build the skills they need to become lifelong learners.
Using the ten frames, dot counters, and the ones and tens sticks, will help my students to learn the foundational skills they need to build upon.
