My students need math manipulative's such as dice and number lines to help them become mathematicians.

My Students

Do you remember learning about numbers? My students are now learning about numbers and counting. They get excited when they realize they did it!

We are a Kindergarten classroom!!

We are a small town where the students are ready to learn and I want to give them the opportunity to see that learning is fun. The students may not have had preschool experience so this is a chance to make a lasting impression on them.

My Project

These resources will be used to help incorporate Common Core and also give the students the opportunity to use a hands on manipulative. Since our State is starting Common Core this year, the students will have the chance to learn with a manipulative that will make learning memorable. My students need several abacuses, number lines, math activities, and dice to help enhance my students' learning.

This project is important to me because I want to give my student a chance to learn math not just by paper and pencil but by using their hands.

The student will be given a chance to see that math is important in everyday life.
