This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

6th-grade mathematics is such an exciting time for students because it introduces them to a new world of problems in number sense and operations, algebra, geometry, spatial sense, measurement and functions, and probability.

Donating to our project will help build a collaborative, dynamic, and fun classroom.

I am requesting a classroom easel. Students will use the materials for problem-solving in small and whole-class activities. Also, the materials support diverse ways of learning as students will be able to work out the problems hands-on.

With your help my students will be set up for success as they embark on their middle school mathematics journey!
