Help me give my students new pens, graph paper and binders to keep them engage while learning math.
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them every day. My students are great kids! They deserve the best learning environment their teachers can give them. May goal is to provide each of my students with the necessary tools to be successful at school and in life.
Our school is a high poverty school, which means at least half of the students in our classroom qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
I want to give students the opportunity to use fun colors while learning. Using color pens instead of the regular pencil make my students excited to learn and helps me keep them engage. Another great thing about these supplies is that I will be able to teach many of my students how to be organized. Many of the mistakes that I see in math now are due to the lack of organization. A lot of my students struggle with these skills, and I know that using this type of paper will make it easier for my students to learn this skill and be successful in Math.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
