Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will support my students in staying organized and taking effective notes as they navigate their math learning journey. The vocabulary posters will ensure that all of my students have equitable access to essential mathematical language, helping to build their confidence and comprehension. I emphasize accuracy when graphing by encouraging students to use rulers and incorporate color to clearly distinguish between different functions. Additionally, I provide a variety of graphic organizers to support diverse learning styles, and scissors are an essential tool for students to customize and interact with these resources.

The goal of this project is to equip my students with the tools and support they need to thrive in the math classroom.

My students are truly special—they are hardworking, dedicated, and deeply committed to their education. They understand the value of persistence and, with the right support, are determined to succeed.
