My Students

I am currently the Math SETSS teacher and my role is to support special education students in math since they are all performing below grade level. Since this is a new position at my school, there are no exciting math resources available. This kit will be beneficial in engaging my students in math.

My students are motivated to learn but are easily distracted and bored with the 'everyday' math they are taught daily.

They are all performing well below grade level and need to be engaged and challenged in math through various learning modalities which are provided in this kit.

My Project

This math resource kit will not only motivate my students to want to learn their basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts, but it will also help them remember and be able to apply these facts through the Math Rap CDs as well as the colorful manipulatives.

This project is important to me because it will allow my students who struggle in all other subjects but love math to be able to be motivated, engaged, and excel in a subject they enjoy through the differentiated materials and activities provided in this kit.
