This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 6th grade in a Title I middle school. My students are the most amazing humans I've met and I love how much diversity we have at our school. With a diverse population comes diverse needs.
My priority is creating a space in my classroom that is conducive to excellent learning for all students.
I have high expectations for my students so it's important that I provide them with everything they need to meet those expectations.
My students make everyday of work fun and new. There's never a boring day of teaching. I love what I do and want the best for my students. They deserve the world.
My Project
There has been a lot of hardship for everyone throughout Covid-19, including my students. It's my goal to provide my students with the best educational experience, including making sure they have all the supplies they need to be successful.
With the correct learning tools, all students will be successful in the classroom.
Pencils, pens, and highlighters are all key supplies in helping students create good study habits. White boards help students engage in lessons in an interactive way. An air purifier will help the students breathe clean air throughout the day.
With this project, I can help my students get back on track and make up for lost learning time. They deserve the best education and these materials will help me provide them with the strategies they need to become lifelong learners.
