This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math and reading games are powerful tools for helping kindergartners learn because they make important skills fun, hands-on, and engaging.

Games give young learners the chance to practice letters, sounds, numbers, and counting in ways that feel like play, which helps build confidence and reduces frustration.

They also encourage repetition—an essential part of mastery—without feeling repetitive. Through games, children strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and early literacy skills while developing cooperation and communication as they work with classmates. Most importantly, math and reading games create joyful learning experiences that help students stay motivated and excited about school.
