My Project
Math manipulatives will help me to keep my students enthusiastic about leaning math even when it is challenging. I strive to make sure each child is successful in math and math manipulatives will certainly allow them to practice crucial, foundational math skills. I can see the excitement on each child's face as they use the manipulatives. The Lakeshore Hands-on Learning Manipulatives will definitely allow each child to continue to practice independently and/or in small groups. The math brain game, and math slam electronic games with the sounds and lights will be fun to keep even the reluctant student engaged. My students will get tons of practice with all these materials and I can easily help each child progress to the next level.
With these hands-on math manipulatives, my students will be able to practice foundational math skills in a fun, independent way while experiencing great success!
My students are special because they are highly motivated to learn and will take the extra steps necessary to be successful. My goal is to help each student to be on or above grade in math by providing new and exciting ways to learn math.
If I can make math fun, my students will not realize they are learning while playing. I know how much my students enjoy putting the pencil down and using hands-on manipulatives. The more hands-on activities I can provide to my students daily will definitely make a positive impact on their math growth.
