They are enjoying the kinetic sand, using tongs to pick up and move objects, and examining different animals and insects with magnifying glasses. One of our favorite activities is observing the tiny details of the insects and animals and talking about what we notice. These activities help build fine motor skills, encourage scientific thinking, and develop vocabulary while making learning fun and engaging.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited to see our new materials! They couldn't wait to explore the kinetic sand, investigate the different animals and insects, and use the magnifying glasses to look more closely at their discoveries. Their curiosity and enthusiasm were wonderful to see. It was exciting to watch them explore, ask questions, and share their discoveries with their classmates. These resources have brought even more opportunities for excitement and meaningful learning into our classroom.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue exploring the world of animals and insects through our discovery center. The students will have opportunities to observe and compare different animals and insects, notice their unique features, and discuss how they are alike and different. We will encourage them to ask questions, make observations, and use new vocabulary as they explore. The sensory table will also help strengthen their fine motor skills, coordination, and problem-solving abilities through activities with kinetic sand and tongs.
