Math Notebooks: Building Understanding One Foldable at a Time!”

Help me give my students interactive math notebooks to give them personal tools to help them break down concepts and a guided reference to math tools that will give them Stem skills overtime.

My Project

My 7th graders are hands-on learners who thrive when they can interact with content in meaningful ways. But too often, math is presented as notes on a board and problems on a page—leaving many students disengaged and struggling to retain key concepts.

This project will fund the supplies we need to create interactive math notebooks that connect math to STEM skills through foldables, diagrams, vocabulary visuals, and real-world problem solving.

These notebooks will become personalized learning tools students can take pride in, review from, and build on all year long.

We'll also incorporate STEM-focused math activities like building scale models, analyzing data, and designing solutions—then reflecting on these experiences through notebook entries. This approach doesn’t just teach math; it helps students own it.
