My Project
I have been teaching for 20 years. Yet, in order to ensure that I keep connecting with students, I want to be able to supply at least the basic needs. I love teaching math; however, when technology/computers are not available to use, I still need my students to understand their grade level work.
Currently, I am in need of a class set of calculators because most of my supplies are outdated, broken, or there is not enough for the number of students that I have enrolled in each class.
Since seventh grade is highly about real-world money applications, I would like to be able to do more projects where students can use the calculators to understand real life situations as well as learn about financial literacy in a better way.
