Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are from a diverse and multicultural community, all eagerly transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten. They arrive every day eager to learn new things and engage in fun learning activities. They are busy learning to become independent learners. They are learning to take on more methods of advanced learning.

My students are learning how to be productive students and show respect for each other and their environment.

They are helpful to each other, work together and have developed a positive learning environment.

They enjoy writing, drawing, reading, math games and the free discovery areas.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of math games. The students will use the materials to practice the different skills they need to show understanding of math concepts for Kindergarten. The math materials are aligned with the Core State Math Standards.

The Mathematics Folder Games do not just engage and promote learning but they are fun.

They allow students to work in small groups or individually.

The individual Math Boards will be useful for whole group or small group math instruction. These math materials will provide much needed hands-on learning fo my students.
