it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The color pencils, markers, and electric pencil sharpeners I’m requesting will play a key role in bringing creativity into our math classroom. We will use these supplies to create Cartesian art, where students can graph points and create visual art by plotting coordinates on a grid. This project will help students deepen their understanding of algebra and geometry while allowing them to express their mathematical knowledge in a creative way. My goal is to integrate art and math in a way that makes learning more engaging and accessible for all students. My students are especially motivated when they can connect abstract concepts to real-world applications, and these supplies will help bring that connection to life.
