My school family is made up of kindergartners who are excited to learn all about school and make their mark on the world. They need the tools to be taught 21st century skills while incorporating social skills. My students need to materials to help them learn literacy, STEM, and social skills.
My students are eager to come to school and ready to learn yet would benefit from strategic resources to help them succeed.
These activities will increase students independence and supplement our whole group learning.
Math is easiest to learn at an early age when multiple learning styles are represented. I find it difficult to teach math using a kinesthetic, hands on approach due to limited manipulative options. I want to help my students learn math skills while encouraging their language skills and social skills.
These resources will provide my students the opportunity to engage purposeful in daily 3 math centers.
Resources that encourage students to physically move and manipulate objects in a small group setting have proven to be effective. The early learning math board games, magnets, dough stampers, and stampers will allow my students to interact in small groups, incorporate movement, and foster independence.
