Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach twenty-one, six year olds who are full or energy and love to give, full of enthusiasm and eager to see what the world has to offer for them. This group has made its way into my heart and is slowly doing the same to the hearts of one another.

My rockets are reaching for the stars.

I have a bilingual classroom with nine English Learners eight of whom are in a Spanish transitional bilingual program. Regardless, all of my students are committed to soaring high.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students learning by allowing for them to have more resources that will facilitate the math experience. By having the whiteboards it provides a way for the students to do warm-up activities in math, and can also be used in other content areas. The whiteboards will be versatile and work well in other content areas making the learning experience a more enjoyable process for the students. The matching game will work great in math as well by allowing to support the students' understanding of addition and subtraction. This will work very well as something they can use as a preferred educational activity.
