My Project
The goal of this grant is to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that fosters active learning, collaboration, and comfort, tailored to the unique qualities of my students.
My students bring diverse talents, perspectives, and enthusiasm to the classroom, thriving when given opportunities to engage in hands-on, interactive learning.
Hands-on manipulatives will empower them to explore math and science concepts in a tangible way, bridging the gap between abstract ideas and real-world applications. These tools promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and engagement, ensuring all learners—each with their own strengths and learning styles—can succeed. Meanwhile, the addition of a futon will provide flexible and inviting seating options, creating a cozy, student-centered space for independent reading, group discussions, or creative projects.
Together, these materials will support my students’ curiosity, resilience, and sense of community; helping them feel both challenged and supported as they grow into confident, collaborative learners.
