This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a dual-immersion elementary school as a resource teacher. I am helping students from a variety of grades with an assortment of needs. Many students speak both Spanish and English. There are many needs at this school that parents aren't always able to help with.
For this project, I am requesting materials and resources to help me teach the best that I can so that my students are able to be successful with their learning.
As a resource teacher, I help students with a variety of needs, many of which are math-related. The math flash cards would help my students to learn and grow in these skill areas. The calming strips will help my students stay regulated and keep them on task and learning. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help to ensure that I can provide relevant and helpful materials to support the learning of my students. My students are dedicated and hardworking. They are kind, caring, and have a positive attitude towards learning. As their teacher, I want to do everything I can to help them be as successful as I know they can be!
