Math Materials and Games Make Math Meaningful

My students need math games and activities that they can use on their own while I work with small groups of students to reinforce learning.

My Students

Do you remember learning to count money and tell time? Did you have someone at home to help practice those skills?

The majority of my students come from working families who do not speak English at home.

We are the World Relief Refugee school, and for many of my students we are their first opportunity to be in school. I want them to have fun ways to practice math skills and these activities will do just that!

My Project

During the day I see between 50 and 60 students all at different skill levels in math. I would like my students to have the opportunity to practice math skills in a meaningful way while I am working with other students in a small group. This way, they will have the opportunity to practice what I am teaching and help their fellow students solidify their skills as well!

These 6 activity tubs for math will make a big difference for my students!

They will be able to practice skills that are essential for math competency and success as they move onto upper grades! Please consider funding my project!
