My Project
My school is a title 1 school with over 90% of our students from economically challenged households. Despite hardships and difficulties, what makes them special is that they are committed to learning and have developed a passion for math.
Like any normal child, my students are motivated by resources and rewards.
Currently, we are in need of math manipulatives, pencils, snacks, and Post-It Chart paper to make anchor charts during our lessons. Our slushy machine has been a huge request for years. We plan to have fun Fridays and celebrate our scholars who continue to perform well, both academically and behaviorally.
