My Project
This will be my first year teaching first-grade students. Due to this, I do not have manipulatives for math readily available. These resources will help students during small group rotations. Students will be able to use the magnetic ten frames to model simple addition problems in a hands-on way. Students will use the linking chains to model basic number understanding. The large magnetic models of money and the tens frame will be used as a whole group model for students to refer back to during independent work time.
