I teach 19 amazing students. I am a special education teacher and I love my job so much! My students mean the world to me, even though I have a child of my own I see my students as my children as well. I see the struggles these children go through on a daily basis not only academically, but emotionally. A lot of my students do not have a good home life so when they come to school, it is their safe space and I try everything in my power to make it as fun and enjoyable as possible.
My students try their best every day and I could not be more proud of them for toughing it out through this remote learning.
These kids amaze me almost every day and also teach me new things!
My Project
I plan on giving each of my students a set of these to have at home to help them learn. I am so excited to hopefully be able to give my students the materials they need to succeed!
My students are very hands on learners, so these manipulative's will be perfect to help them reach their full potential!
They will be able to use this when learning place value, fractions and base ten. I'm very excited about the fraction manipulative's for my students because they struggle when learning about them.
