Help me give my students math manipulatives, including cubes, counters and dice. These will really help them learn math!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Hatch's classroom raised $162

My Students
I have 22 first grade students who, this year, will need their own individual math manipulatives because they shouldn't share materials. They will use these manipulatives to count, add, and subtract. It is very difficult to learn to think in the abstract without first having something concrete to practice with, so math manipulatives are very important! These will really help them grow and develop in math.
My Project
These manipulatives will be used for learning at school. Each student will have their own box with the manipulatives inside. During math lessons, we will take them out, study and talk about the math problems together, and use the manipulatives to solve and discuss the problems. We will learn how to do problems in the abstract by first starting with these concrete items. Manipulatives such as cubes, counters, and dice also really help students who struggle with math, because they can visualize the problems and physically move objects to solve math problems. Thank you very much for your help!
