Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from various backgrounds and are from low income families. My students all have various levels of proficiency in math. The majority of my students are multi-sensory learners. They learn best when they receive small group instruction.
The resources would provide students the materials to focus on various mathematical topics contained in the curriculum.
My Project
My students are visual learners. As the new school year starts, I would love to have magnetic manipulatives that I can use for our remote classes. These items will help my students learn the key concepts with visual tools.
The magnetic manipulatives and magnetic wipe board will be a great addition to my classroom as students learn new math concepts.
They will have visuals to represent these new math concepts as well as several models. The magnetic manipulatives and boards will aid in the learning experience of my students this school year.
More than half of students from low‑income households
