My Project

Math manipulatives are a great concrete way to provide hands-on learning and differentiate instruction. I can differentiate instruction by offering manipulatives for students with difficulty understanding a concept. For example, I can use manipulatives such as fraction cubes to help show equivalent fractions or use fractions on a number line to show the same thing.

These hands-on, concrete examples make abstract math concepts as clear as a bell and help students grasp them faster.

Additionally, providing opportunities for students to explore and experiment with manipulatives independently or in small groups can help foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
