Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are in need of math manipulatives in our classroom. My students need to explore using a variety of mathematical concept whiteboards, math charts, and other math manipulative supplies that we will enhance our math time together during our after school math lessons and independent work time. With new supplies and engaging materials, my students will be able to continue the school year strong, increase my students' extraordinary interest and excitement, and furthering student engagement by creating a safe learning environment that increases student confidence.

Help our mathematicians use manipulatives to explore math concepts and strengthen their math knowledge.

My special needs students are wonderful and eager to have math supplies that can assist them with learning new math concepts. By providing alternate ways for them to show their knowledge, I will have opportunities to support my students with achieving this goal.

The math manipulatives that we are requesting will be used to support excitement and engagement in student learning.
