My Students
I have an amazing class of fourth-graders. My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
Many students in my classroom, if not all have been affected by COVID19 and the time that has been spent out of the classroom.
They have had a strange couple of years as we have had to adapt to various new "normals". This is especially true when it comes to various different concepts that are essential to further growth in knowledge as they move forward in their schooling.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky.
My Project

This is especially true when it comes to various different math concepts that are essential to further growth in knowledge as they move forward in their schooling.
To combat this I am striving to provide small math groups to ensure more targeted instruction for those students in need. The items I am asking for will be used for math manipulatives during those small groups to help the students learn and use their strategies to provide a more engaging learning group.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! These manipulatives help me meet those different learning needs and styles to be able to help in the most effective ways.
