Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My fabulous first-grade students love math and they enjoy hands-on learning activities. By donating to this project, you will give my students the enjoyment of hands-on learning in math. We will use these manipulatives to help the students learn how to tell time using an analog clock, three-dimensional shapes, how to add and subtract using base ten blocks, place value using base ten blocks, and how to use a number line to add and subtract. My goal for this project is to get the manipulatives into my students' hands so they can better understand the math lessons I am teaching.
