My Project
With your support, we’re creating a dual-purpose space that encourages both mathematical thinking and creative expression. We’re seeking Montessori Style Materials, such as paintbrush holders and tape dispensers for our Creation Station! As well as Montessori Inspired Math Tools like wooden hundreds boards, abaci, and other tactile manipulatives.
These materials are intentionally designed to promote independent learning and organization while fostering a calming, focused environment.
The Creation Station will empower students to explore their artistic ideas with neatly organized supplies, encouraging responsibility and ownership over their work.
The math manipulatives will allow students to physically interact with numbers, patterns, and place value concepts - making abstract ideas more concrete. Whether they’re building number sense with a 100s board or exploring counting patterns with the abacus, students will deepen their understanding through hands-on experiences and meaningful math talk.
