The clear bins make the materials easy for students to access, and it's been wonderful watching them choose the items that help them feel calm and ready to learn. The weighted pillows have become a favorite during read-alouds—students settle in with one on their lap and seem more grounded and focused as we share stories together. One student goes straight for the drip timer every single visit, and it has quickly become a comforting routine that helps them transition into library time with ease.\r\n\r\nI've noticed such a positive change in how students participate during media lessons. When they are using these quiet sensory tools—fidgets, tiles, wobble cushions, and more—they are more engaged, more attentive, and more confident. The tools allow them to self-regulate in ways that support their learning without disrupting their peers. It has been especially meaningful to watch even our most wiggly or anxious learners find comfort, settle in, and enjoy their time in the library.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our library has become a more welcoming and inclusive space for all students. The materials you helped provide - paint, pencil sharpeners, clipboards, counting bears, and magnetic boards with word tiles - have each made an incredible impact on our classroom. The excitement on my students' faces when they saw the new supplies was priceless. They were especially thrilled to use the bright paints during our first art and writing integration project, where they illustrated their own stories. The new sharpeners have already saved us so much learning time, and the clipboards have allowed students to work flexibly around the room, whether they're writing on the rug or counting at a math station.\r\n\r\nOne of the most engaging moments came during a recent literacy center. Students used the magnetic word tiles to build sentences, challenge each other with new vocabulary, and even \"publish\" their work on whiteboards. Meanwhile, in math, the counting bears have helped solidify concepts like sorting, patterning, and early addition in a hands-on, visual way.
