Math Manipulatives and Supplies for Special Education Class

My Project
My math resource classroom is utilized for small group work, both with special education students and with students needing more assistance than the general education classroom can provide. I also teach two classes of students with more in-depth need.
I have found that students, especially those that struggle with the subject, are more engaged in learning math when you can teach employing techniques that help multiple learning styles.
Individual whiteboards allow students that may have fine motor issues a tool to write down problems and work problems with the teacher. I also teach use of alternatives when a disability limits a student's ability to solve problems because they do not understand the fundamental algorithms involved in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This is where use of calculators and manipulatives can help students engage in learning.
