This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am in need of math manipulatives! I know having these tools will help the students understand the concepts much easier. My goals are to have a set of classroom manipulatives we can use for years to come. Additionally, I am hoping to get some snacks and small prizes for our classroom prize box. The kids are given little tickets in support of positive behavior. These tickets can then be used to "buy" prizes.

Not only are the manipulatives important for their academic goals, but the prizes will be useful in continuing to motivate the good behaviors they are fostering!
