My Students
I am so excited to be teaching my first year in Harrisburg, PA. I am blessed with a very diverse group of students who accept and care for one another. Many of my students come from low-income households and have faced trauma in their short lifetimes. My students often face challenges and hardships, but they have the biggest hearts. They deserve the best!
My students inspire me every single day.
I want to be able to give my students everything. Being able to provide resources and materials that they do not have access to at home will motivate them and get them exciting about learning.
My Project
After the crazy school year we just finished, I would like to bring a sense of normalcy back into my classroom. I think one of the best ways to do this is to provide students with hands on manipulatives that they were not able to work with the past year due to at home distance learning. I would like to provide my students with dry erase boards to demonstrate their knowledge and hands on manipulatives such as clocks to work with. Finally, I am going to need a place to put it all! Help me organize these new materials with rolling plastic storage bins. Thank you in advance! My students and I appreciate you!
