My students only get to use technology once a week during their scheduled computer lab time. Having these tablets in my classroom would allow students the opportunity to use technology every school day. I would love to have a technology station or center during my guided reading time. This would allow every student about 15 minutes per day on the tablet. They would play interactive and educational games that will help improve their math facts, reading comprehension, and more, and they will have fun doing so! Technology in the classroom will also be very useful for my English language learners. Games and activities can be translated to their native language and can help them become fluent.
