Students that use hands on math manipulatives have greater success in concept learning, especially those students that are kinesthetic learners. Help us provide all of our wonderful mathematicians with manipulatives to help them learn about place value, money and comparing numbers.
We will also use the folders to create and organize resources for the students depending on the subject area.
This helps all students manage their materials and also helps students to develop organizational skills and learn responsibility and self-management skills.
Our students are a super diverse group of wonderfully active and curious mathematicians. They love to play games and to show what they know! The individual whiteboards will help with student engagement and allow all students to participate at once instead of calling one student at a time!
