This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for basic math materials for my classroom. I am a first-year teacher at a fantastic school, in a classroom full of curious learners. My students enjoy math, but we need some more materials for them to play with and build their number sense.

By donating today, you will be giving my students new ways to express their math thinking!

We will use them together as a class, in small groups, and for individual choice time. Students will be able to use them during lessons to enhance their understanding of new concepts. The shape and base-ten blocks can be used for a wide variety of stations and partner work. The write-wipe sleeves will save paper printing, saving the whole school money on paper materials.
