My students come from diverse lives.

Some of my students are moving and their family struggles to make it financially. A portion of the class are students who's family have just moved to the USA from other countries. While the other students in the class whose parents just purchased their home, it may be 30 years old but it is a home.

My Project

I am asking to have funded math centers for students to take back to their desk and practice the common core standards as well as a common core standard kit to assist in instructing in the core standards. By having the centers in the classroom, I will be able to assist struggling students, reinforce knowledge and advanced students in the core standards.

This project will reinforce students knowledge in the core standards for 2nd grade.

This knowledge will assist them as they advance into third grade and so forth to the other grades as well as assisting them with being on or above grade level.
